Trunk or Treat

Come on out to Diamond Lake for an afternoon of fall fun! 

From 2:30 - 3:30 Trunk or Treating will be held in the "new campground" (sites 42-72)

If you are camping for the weekend, and would like to decorate your site and hand out candy set up in one of those sites. If that campground fills up consider setting a up a table or vehicle in the overflow parking areas, so you can still participate! 

Sites will be numbered and visitors can vote for their favorite! The top 3 places will recieve certificates for free nights of camping. Please remember this is a family friendly event!

As people finish Trunk or Treating, from 3:00- 6:00 we'll have more activities in the park including wildlife skits, pumpkin decorating, archery (for ages 7 and up), and more!

Depending on ground conditions parking will be available in front of the ranger house, on the hill near the trunk or treat loop. 

The campround will function as normal. Sites are offered on a first come, first served basis (we expect the park to fill up so you may want to come claim your site earlier in the week), quiet hours begin at 10 pm, no ATV/UTVs in the park, etc. 

Nature Explorers

Nature Explorers is a free program with content aimed at preschoolers through 5th graders - though learners of all ages are always welcome! In the school year we meet every other Tuesday at Diamond Lake's Main Shelter (weather permitting).  Lessons usually feature a story, discussion of  science or nature topic and an activity or craft. The same program will be offered at 10 am and 1 pm, come to whichever works for your family's schedule. 

Amy will send out a text reminder and any pertininent information for the next day's program on Monday. For example "We plan to take a short walk, please bring winter layers" or "We'll be doing watercolors please wear old clothes!" 

RSVPs are not required, but they are always appreciated!
