Assistant Finance Director
Applications are currently being accepted for the position of Assistant Finance Director in the Poweshiek County Auditor’s Office.
Job duties for this position include processing payroll & preparing quarterly and year-end reporting; maintaining employee records; human resource/employment issues, including HIPPA, security policies, employment law, bargaining agreements; administering benefit programs. The individual must possess strong communication skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Associates Degree or two years of formal accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, payroll, human resources or equivalent experience is required. On the job training will be provided.
