Civil Clerk

The Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office is now hiring for the position of Civil Clerk. The Civil Clerk is responsible for a variety of tasks related to civil process, including subpoenas, garnishments, writs, court orders, condemnations, sheriff sales, etc, processes weapons permit applications, and performs a variety of records keeping and data entry. A full job description is available from the Poweshiek County Auditor’s office. This is a Monday through Friday office position.
Benefits include a starting salary of $55,000 to $65,000 depending on qualifications and experience, IPERS retirement, full health and dental insurance, and paid vacation and holidays.
