Park Technician

The Poweshiek County Conservation Board seeks a qualified individual with necessary experience to serve as its Park Technician. This position will be responsible for park and equipment maintenance at Diamond Lake, a 660 acre park. This position will also be responsible for enforcing park rules which will require some irregular night and weekend hours. Additional responsibilities will include implementing management plans on outlying wildlife management areas as well.

Highschool diploma or GED and two years’ work experience in the natural resource management field or equivalent. Individuals with graduation from an accredited college or law enforcement will have preference.

$45,000 - $49,000/year with health benefits and IPERS
