Join Naturalist Amy as we explore Fleming Woods State Preserve, focusing on spring ephemeral wildlflowers such as Dutchman's breeches, and Virginia bluebells. This event is open to people of all ages. Long pants and closed toed shoes are recommened. We will be walking through woods without a maintained trail - however, the pace will be slow as we look at the spring plant life.

Nature Explorers - Topic TBD

Nature Explorers is a free program for preschoolers through 5th graders - though learners of all ages are always welcome! We will meet every other Tuesday at Diamond Lake Park.  The same program will be offered at 10 am and 1 pm, come to whichever works for your family's schedule. Feel free to bring a picnic to eat in the shelter before or after your program!

Amy will send a text out on Monday to let you know what to expect (ex: we'll be hiking you might want boots and a baby carrier; it's surprisingly chilly, we're moving indoors etc.) call or text to get on the text reminder list. 

Weather permitting we'll meet in the main shelter.
